Senior Year!

Hey, y’all!

Long time no hear from. I’ve been okay. I’ve just been working and mentally preparing myself for the life I’m about to live. What life is that you ask? The life of a SENIOR, honey! Ugh, I swear I never thought the day would come. I remember being like 7 years old and my stepbrother graduated from high school. At the time, it was 2004. He asked me what year I would graduate and I obviously couldn’t do that kinda math in my head at the time so.. he calculated 2015 and laughed. I was like wowwww… 11 YEARS! I never thought I would make it. Just the thought of 2015 actually being a year and me being alive to see it was mindblowing.

So, here I am. 1 week and 3 days away from the first day of senior year! Ahh! I’m so freaking excited. The fact that I’m a senior didn’t set in until I started getting scholarship offers. I knew then: STUFF IS GETTING REAL!

Class of 2015,

THIS IS OUR YEAR! It’s gonna be what we make it. I encourage everyone to participate in all events, senior-related or not, because this is our last chance. (tear)… I know in the past, I haven’t really been involved in school related activities and every school event was kinda whatever to me. I suddenly wanna go to every football game, basketball game, dance, party, etc.

I dunno.. Like, this is our last chance to do high school things. Let’s make the most of it.

I also feel like I wanna be closer to my classmates this year. Im really feeling HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL (*sings “We’re All In This Together”*).. I want everyone to have fun and BE SAFE!

OMG, I want everyone to be safe. I want every single person to walk across the stage come May 21st, 2015! (OMG YAY!)

P.S. To my VHS seniors, I seriously love y’all and have a newfound love for our class. I truly wanna see every single person succeed this school year. I’m seriously looking forward to this school year and the new relationships I will obtain.
